Hi guys,

I an transiting though singapore for 24 hours and was sondering if i could use my krisflyer points to book a hotel for a night. I am about to lost the points anyway and if there was a way i could use that and save some money it would be great - as i have to be there just one night.

I am told i can get a transit visa at the airpot itself or there is a hotel within the airport for which i dont need transit visa.

But is there a site where i can find list of hotels i can book using krisflyer miles ? Cant find anytime like that on the singapore airlines website.

Thanks in advance

Jake

I've just noticed today that SIA have reintroduced the $1 Singapore Stopover deal.

If you have two pax on the same booking ref then you can go online to the SIA and choose from a limited range of hotels for $2.

I tried to book one but as I have two PAX spread across two bookings I can only book the single rate which is about $45. I already have hotels pre-paid, I was interested in a $2 hotel to shower & refresh before heading out to the hotel at night as we would have checked-out at before at 9am in the morning. I guess the call centre will work it out for me.

I don't think you can use KF miles to redeem for hotel stays.
