Honolulu in Lockdown

Currently in Honolulu, whole city covered in cops/cars, secret service agents everywhere, even navy seals and fighter jets, roads blocked off, in readiness for APEC conference, never seen anything like it, either overkill or paranoid not sure.

I would suggest an American sized serving of both. The yanks love this stuff (security operations). A shame its happening in Honolulu though. Hope it adds something to your holiday and not detracts from it.

Sydney had lockdowns in 2007 for APEC too. probably not as bad though..

That they do, have to see it to believe it, now they have sniffer dogs up and down the marina opposite our pad, plus mobile sizzer lift observation post!, been wondering how the person in there goes to dunny!.

Our vacation is near over flying out tomorrow, been interesting watching it all.

Just back from lunch at Hilton Hau Tree bar, cops and more cops, now at marina they have a large rubber ducky GUN BOAT with machine gun on front with guy standing behind it on the ready, I mean really!.

Friend at marina on his yacht told me handlers & sniffer dogs were going on boats during night.
