Hello,

I am booked on MH433 (HKG -> KUL), departing HKG at 20:30, one day in late March. Having flown back from HKG via QF before and read up on QF threads here, I had (foolishly?) assumed that the ~24-hour prior check-in available in the Airport Express MTR stations at Hong Kong City and Kowloon for Qantas flights was also available for Malaysia Airlines, but looking at the MTR page regarding the check-in availability, I see that MH doesn't have the same '*' signifying this option as QF does. I was hoping to do the check-in and bag drop early in the day and then enjoy my last day exploring with no luggage, but I'm beginning to suspect that won't be an option.

I sent a query to Malaysia Airlines customer service email address about 10 days ago, but haven't received anything but the automated "we have received your query" email back.

Does anyone here know how early I am able to check in for my MH flight using the in-town check-in? I found considerable discussion here regarding QF check in, but nothing for other airlines.

I will be flying in J and am One World Emerald, if that makes any difference.

Thank you,

mrpooky.

there is no difference as to what time they check in.. but may have lines for business class or premium economy passengers..
