Is it just me or does it seem to take quite a bit of time for the luggage to come out? Then when it comes out it priority luggage is ignored and never first then quite a few items I've seen come out broken.

Is this just me or is this typical of this airport?

I'm rarely one to defend HBA (my home port) but I can't say any of those issues resonates with me.

You would be lucky to get priority baggage to work properly at any Australian airport IMHO. I think bags may be slower than usual just occasionally when say 3 jets arrive at the same time and either they run out of baggage handling resources for the third, or there's a delay because a jet is arriving/departing and everyone has to give way.

Hobart is all sub contract ground handlers i believe, for both airlines. Probably explains a lot of the issues.

Ah that's news to me that it's subcontracted. That might explain everything.
