Hi all,
I've booked travel BNE-SYD-HNL in June under the QF DSC offer (June 21-28).
I actually want to travel to Portland during that time, and the best flight HNL-PDX direct seems to be with Alaska airlines. I'd like to book AA for the return PDX-HNL for the QF status credits, and wondering if it's possible to book this as an itinerary with a travel agent?
The AA outbound inbound flights are all late departures and would end up being overnight flights.
No codeshares to book through either airline directly.
If can't be done, I'll probably just book AS and do a mileage run while in the US....
Thanks

I don't see any reason why it couldn't be booked with a travel agent, although I suspect you're best bet would be to use an OTA. An Australian agent would probably charge you more because I don't think agents get commissions unless the flights originate in Australia.
