Slightly disappointing that they did not include any Australian hiotels. The Cairns Hilton would have been ideal for a weekend stay in May for Ozfest. :-|

That's very good.
Having lapsed Gold status, I booked a room at the Conrad for late October 08... was SGD$214 for an exec floor room under the 'EXCLUSIVE OFFER' promo. SGD $251 incl. taxes.

I wonder if the club floor rooms are priced well under SGD$200 before tax?

I booked one of these $152 rooms this past Saturday night (17 January). As a HHonors Gold I was upgraded to a business deluxe room. There appeared to be some issue with reservations as Hilton reservations told me there were at least six rooms available on the executive floor. I had to speak with the duty manager before I was finally given access.

Definitely worth the minimal expense, however. A very fine hotel.

I booked one of these $152 rooms this past Saturday night (17 January).

I was also there this past Sat night (and Fri as well), and got upgraded to Exec floor, worth switching from my regular Singapore hotel. Exceptional value, and staff were all fantastic. My only complaint was the thickness of the quilts given that it the hotel's in Singapore, not Montreal or Moscow (but housekeeping obliged to remake my bed with a sheet).

I switched to Hilton on Sun night (was same price as Conrad $187) to get extra stay in my Hilton a/c - and was upgraded there as well - but definitely inferior to the Conrad (room was OK, but exec lounge more at a north American standard than a SE asian standard!)

I was tempted to do Hilton Friday, Conrad Saturday, Hilton Sunday but that was just one move to many, especially given that I'd already had a stay at Hilton Petaling Jaya (KL) earlier in the week. One thing I did note on Thursday night both Hilton & Conrad where around $360/night when I checked - meaning weekend sale was significant saving.
