Hi brains trust, keen for some advice please. I recently got to Accor Platinum and currently hold Hilton Gold via Amex Platinum. There's currently a Hilton Status Match that boosts you to gold for 90 days, with six nights to retain Gold and twelve nights to reach Diamond (until 31 March 2028). Aware I'm already Gold, although I've got enough nights coming up in the next 90 days that would get me to Diamond.

The landing page only references current Diamond members are ineligible, although conflicting this the help center says Gold and Diamond are ineligible. When I log in it allows me populate the form for status match which and says I'm eligible, although all other written online info indicates otherwise. I want to make some quick decisions re upcoming accomodation, so don't want to go through the drama of submitting it and being declined in a few weeks or to jeopardise the syncing of Amex Platinum card to Hildon Gold (given the status match is for 90 days).

Any advice on if I'd be eligible, or people in a similar position would be greatly appreciated :)

No, the landing page has a faq that says your not eligible
**3. Who is eligible for Status Match? ** Members who are currently at Base or Silver tier and have not previously enrolled in Status Match.
**4. Why are Gold and Diamond members restricted from Status Match? ** Members with Gold status and higher are already experiencing the benefits that come with elite Hilton Honors status; we will therefore not process these requests.

This is not a status match (although Hilton do call it one ) but a challenge, a new membership would be eligible ;)

Thank you, I didn't notice the FAQs! You're right, it's just odd it allowed me to sign in and then said I was eligible. I won't proceed though. Thanks again! :)
