Hilton opens first Dubai Doubletree

DUBAI, U.A.E. and MCLEAN, VA. – Hilton Worldwide and DoubleTree by Hilton have announced the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Residences Dubai - Al Barsha located within a short walking distance of Mall of The Emirates, famous for its Ski Dubai attraction, the first indoor ski resort in the Middle East, with areas for skiing, sledding and more. The 359 room property is the first DoubleTree by Hilton hotel to open in the Emirate of Dubai and the second to open in the United Arab Emirates this year.

In addition to the existing DoubleTree by Hilton Ras Al Khaimah, the recent openings on Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, U.A.E. and in Dhahran, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Dubai opening will secure our Middle East presence and build awareness about our brand and service culture,” said John Greenleaf, global head, DoubleTree by Hilton.

They're also opening a Doubletree in Jumeirah Beach. I've booked a stay there for a 1 night stopover on the way back from the UK in late November, a 1 BR suite for 60k HH points.
