My first booking is not until late November and I'm looking forward to it. I haven't had any peeks inside yet, but I'm thinking it should be comparable to the Stanley. At least I'm hoping it is!

As it panned out, I need to be in POM on Monday morning before a flight home, so Sunday night ....

Hopefully they won't mind me posting that, as they are now open and on-line.

Thanks to the efforts of the POM Hilton reservation team putting up with my pestering, I managed to get a booking. ;)

I'm excited ... and I don't say that about many hotels!

I had a look around a week ago. It officially opened for business on Thursday. It’s quite nice, expensive even for Pom though it seems. My wife is there tonight for NZ High Com ball, I’m sitting in JAL Lounge at KIX though so missing all the fun!!

The whisky bar on the top floor will be a popular spot I believe. Also the mumu restaurant when it opens next month.

Thanks for this! I am not brave enough to go to POM I don't think but if I did I would stay here.
There's an old saying that PNG is not for everyone and POM is not a tourist town, however PNG has a lot to offer outside POM.
