Checking my account last night, I noticed that when redeeming fuel saving offers on my card, the highest value offer is not being redeemed and a lower value offer accrued at a later date was, allowing the higher value offer to expire. My account showed a 30c per litre offer accrued on 27/6. 17c per litre offer was subsequently accrued on 16/7. I filled the tank on 20/7 but the 17c per litre offer was used instead of the 30c per litre offer which subsequently expired on 26/7. The 17c per litre offer was not due to expire until 16/8. I missed out on 1320 points on that fill (88.04 litres x 15 QFF points per litre)

Rang EDR today and they credited the 30c offer back to my account with 28 days expiry so all good, but it pays to check as clearly, the highest offer doesn't always come off first as it should.

Yeah, that happened to me a year or so ago. I always keep on eye on my account and track which fuel offers are used and when.

I have seen it happen when they ring up a sale, scan the card then for some reason do it again, the voucher when scanned is removed and if not confirmed does not come back until three days later, meaning a rescan sticks to the next voucher. Pretty poor software.
