Just joined after finding this website. I was searching for "Centurion Card - is it worth it?" From all the comments it appears to mostly have 'poser' value which I couldn't care less about. I don't think the concierge service and Travel Service on Platinum are worth the bother. I do all my own Travel Arrangements and use QFF Points to do RTW every year. Spend about $ 150,000 on my Platinum Amex and this will go up now that I've discovered ATO accept Amex. My bookeeper didn't like to tell me about it because of the charges?!?! They are tax deductible so I don't mind. I am trying to find a code to abbreviations so I know what's going on.

Welcome Netty,

Does the ATO impose a surcharge for accepting AMEX?

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements

The "good thing" about the surcharge is that it's tax deductible if paying business tax, and so if you use your points for J or F travel they are worth at least four times what you pay for in the surcharge!

Welcome to AFF too!
