Hi All,

I've been reading AFF for a while but thought it was finally time to join in. Thanks to the useful info on AFF, I've managed to grab a reward seat for MEL-SYD-LAX in J on UA.

I've also got a couple of questions I'm hoping someone may know the answer to:

1. If I book a paid flight from LAX-YYZ in discount Y, operated by AC but booked as a UA codeshare, as a VA SG, would I be entitled to the UA status benefits (checked baggage allowance, lounge access etc) or the AC status benefits (just lounge access)?
2. In the above scenario, which lounge would I have access to at LAX, the UA lounge or the AC lounge (or both)?

Welcome to AFF.

I'd suggest that you post your questions in the appropriate thread for an answer from a knowledgeable member.

Another "Welcome" to AFF, sorry can't answer your questions.
