Hi AFF community,

I’m travelling to Hong Kong from Shanghai with Cathay Dragon as part of a Melb - Sydney - Shanghai - Hong Kong - Melb trip all ticketed on Qantas in early mid Feb

My Question is as I’m QFF Gold can I access any OW lounges in Shanghai before my flight to Hong Kong on Cathay Dragon?

If the answer is yes, can I guest my mother?, who is on the same ticket and is QFF Bronze

Regards,
Stewey

Thanks, I agree I’m not expecting too much but I’m sure it will be better than not having any lounge access

Yes, you can use the lounge above listed for KA/CX access. I used it the last time I was in PVG for the 2am KA flight to HKG. The lounge can be a bit hard to find though.

The lounges are a bit basic.
Also for wifi access, you'll have to get your passport scanned by airport/lounge staff or a kiosk and get a code.

Have some nice lounge time
The lounge was quite easy to find, it helped at Cathay Dragon check in to be given a formal invitation with the name of the lounge on it

Lounge was clean, comfortable and relatively roomy. Big buzz was the Japanese Automated toilets
A first for me

Reasonable food selection and a self service bar with Spirits, wine and beers
I didn’t bother with the Wi-Fi as I still had plenty of data on 4G
