Thanks for the heads up markis10.

I doubt it'll be me though (considering I'm not currently planned any stays at those hotels).

Woo. I was looking for an excuse to go to OOL. Now I just need to find a spare family member with 4 free nights in June.

Edit: I think I misread that. 4 nights is the prize, but a stay at any Hilton/HHonours property for any length qualifies. Is that correct?

From my reading of the T&C's its any Hilton group hotel stay which earns Velocity points.
Bit of a weird competition TBH as there's no element of chance or skill involved and the winners will be those with the most stays credited to Velocity in each of those three months.

I agree that it seems a little strange at first glance, but reading more closely it starts to make sense. The promoter is Velocity themselves, so their motivation is to get as many people crediting as many points as possible to the Velocity programme. Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't Velocity charge other partners for credited points; $x per thousand points or similar. They must be rubbing their hands with glee with all the people climbing over each other to be the one with the most points.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.
