Jut got a Henschke 'Hill of Friends' 'Museum and Rare newsletter'.

So, what's on offer? Prices abt 10% off RRP

2003 Abbott's Prayer $123
2000 Cyril Henschke $226
1994 Mt Edelstone $299
1999 Hill of Grace $925
2001 Hill of Grace magnum $1,853
1997 Mt Edelstone magnum $471
2002 Cyril Henschke magnum $454
2006 Joseph Hill Gewurtz $51
2007 Croft chardonnay $64
2005 Greens Hill Reisling $63

.. and a few more.

Henschke make some quality wines. I've enjoyed visiting their cellar door a few times. But their prices seem to have increased exponentially over the last 5 years.

Wish I had more in my cellar but I can't justify their current prices.

I regularly bought Henscke's wines.Fantastic value in the 60s and 70s.Then the prices started escalating and by the 90s there were better value wines. Not better but more value.

So buying anything? :)

Only head good things about the '94 Mt Ed. Geez they've gone to town with the price of it too though.

No; I buy it when released; much cheaper!

At Christmas lunch I drag out the Hill of Grace vintage of abt 12 years prior. I enjoy the looks of the family when I remind them that it's about $150 per glass!
