Hello,

Firstly, this is superb, a place to discuss all the nuances of air travel. I've been fascinated with aviation since I was a kid. My first flight was aboard Ansett's B727 at age 5 and I still recall walking up the rear air-stairs to board the plane in OOL.

My other passion is maritime history, and to that end I have a website Cunard Homepage - Chris' Cunard Page - Cunard QE2, QM2, QV & QE, History. which is all about the Cunard Ocean Liners. I've co-Authored 7 books about ships and as part of my work as an author am now flying a lot to all parts of the world.

I usually fly Qantas so find the Qantas section of this site fantastic.

Chris.

Great to have you on board - now that's an aviation and a maritime reference. :)
