Hi

Booking a flight on Hawaiian from HNL to SYD and going to book an Economy - Extra Comfort seat.

Row 12 is available on our 'planned' return date, and Row 11 (the 1st row in Extra Comfort) is available on flight the next day. Happy to delay the holiday/flight by one day if Row 11 is the much better seat in terms of space.

I've looked at photos online and Row 11 only has the light curtain in front which separates Business class so a bit more room in this seat with bonus of nobody reclining into your space.

Any thoughts would be appreciated from travellers that have flown HA in Extra Comfort Seats in either Row 11 or Row 12.
Thanks

We flew both Row 11 and Row 12 last year and can definitely vouch that Row 11 is much better - plenty of legroom in front between Row 11 and the curtain/business class seats, whereas its quite a bit tighter between Row 11 and 12. Plus the added bonus of no-one being able to lean back their seat into your space if you're in row 11. If time isn't an issue then definitely go for Row 11!

Great, thanks so much for the confirmation of Row 11 being the better option between the two. :)

Is row 11 a bassinet row either on the side or in the middle?

You wouldn't want to pay the extra for Comfort Class for row 11 and get gazumped by people with infants.

Luckily the aisle and window seats in R11 do not have a bulkhead between business and economy as it was removed when HA created the Extra Comfort seats, therefore there's nothing solid for a bassinet to be attached to. The only thing that separates business from Extra Comfort economy seating is a thin, sheer curtain.
Not sure of the bulkhead situation in the middle 4 seats. I've reserved Row 11 aisle and window seats.
