Hey. I find AEST time a bit confusing for happy hour and a bit easier to think of it in terms of cities. Is Brisbane a good city to match AEST to for the purposes of the VA happy hour on Thursdays? (Weird I had Tuesdays in my head).

Never used it before but it looks good.

It's just that AEST can be different from Sydney to Brisbane at different times of the year.

As you have alluded to, AEST is the time zone for SYD, MEL, and CBR. Time in BNE can be different (during daylight saving in SYD, MEL, CBR). I am not sure why you think BNE is a good city to match a sale that is based on AEST?

It’s always been BNE time, I assume because Virgin HQ is there. I thought they moved it to Sydney but looks like still QLD based head office.

AEST itself isn't different, but areas do switch time zones.

Whilst Brisbane remains on AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time) all year round, Sydney and Melbourne actually switch to AEDT (Australian Eastern Daylight Time) during the summer.

So yes, Brisbane is a good city to think of when wanting to know AEST :).

I didn't word that correctly but thanks for teasing it out:). I'll set VA happy hour to Brisbane time.
