Anyone stayed at this new hotel yet? I'm considering it for a HKG trip in a week but Tripadvisor reports are basically panning it - poor service being the main complaint.
I've never stayed at a HGI anywhere so don't know what the deal is with them. Whilst DT and HH are quite closely positioned, product wise, in my experience, after a quick net scan the HGI's appear to be 3* in general which, if right, might explain why theres a little less 'polish' to the stays and thus might create some interesting guest feedback given that they still hold the Hilton name and this might create a false sense of expectation in new customers minds.
Anyway, interested in feedback from anyone who stayed here, or at HGI's in general. Do these properties tend to have an exec lounge or club of any type? I'm guessing probably not given their market positioning.
