Guidelines for guests travelling with Gold Velocity member

Hello everyone

Just a quick question ~ I am a gold velocity member and am travelling later this year with a guest who isn't. I understand the Virgin Australia lounges allow 1 adult guest + 2 children but am wondering what the guidelines are regarding the other benefits in particular the priority checking, boarding baggage at destination? The guest will be travelling under the same ticket reservation as me, I don't suppose they will ask her to shove over to the side while I check-in or board...or would they?

They will be able to check in and board with you, baggage should be the same as well.

Cheers. Also, if the lounges for the partner airlines don't specifically specify guests then I suppose additional guests are allowed apart from myself? Or is it generally accepted that at least 1 adult can accompany?

Priority check-in and priority baggage (although I have had to offer to have all bags checked-in under my name occasionally to ensuring tagging) and priority boarding have been provided for me with travelling with another on the same booking - although it's far easier to 'justify' this when it's the spouse rather than a business colleague if challenged! When using priority boarding, I do make a point of providing both boarding passes together as a small courtesy to indicate the person is with me.
