Hi, I am a newbie on this site, work for a large international development agency, travel a lot to lots of weird places, a long-time user of frequent flyer programs, probably don't maximise them as much as I should, and looking forward to learning lots of tips from my fellow travelers on this forum. Cheers!

I suppose I should talk about my FF situation -- have a gazillion points across about four or five different FF programs but never really know what to do with them so always end up converting them to stupid things like vouchers and the like. Would love to learn from the experts here what better experiences and hacks I can use them for. Also a new Amex Platinum member so a bunch more benefits just opened up -- feel the need to start doing some combos to maximise my perks.

Anyway, will be lurking and learning! Cheers.
