Booked there in early Septmber.

Any comments on rooms / room requests / hidden secrets there etc?

Thanks TG - loooks like good location, getting a bit tired on some areas, but overall a solid 4* hotel, nothing special per se.

That website's handy - thanks.

i'd still welcome opinions from this forum's members if any have been there this year.

stayed there for 5 nights in April 2006. Nothing fancy, thought the room and especially the bathroom was a bit small (but then again had just stayed in a suite at the Beverly Hilton) but the location was pretty good - right on top of Grand Central Station and we just caught the subway everywhere. Personally would call it a 3.5 rather than a 4 star. In terms of tips I got a good deal going through priceline - bidding for a room without knowing which hotel it is.
