Gold membership of this site using another form of payment - NOT paypal

Sorry for the long thread title but it says it all.

I wanted to purchase a gold membership (have tried) but PayPal are causing problems yet again and now want me to add my bank account. I will never give Paypal access to my bank account period. Credit card I at least have some say in - bank access none.

Do we have a direct credit option available? Just a BSB / account and I can deposit the amount.

Paypal requires a bank account, but you can always (manually) change to a Credit Card takeout. I am forever doing this for International purchases to use my WizMastercard and not Paypals horrible FX rates

1. why can't AFF say up front on the subscription class selection page as to what payment methods are accepted?
2. why is there no PM link to you on the subscription class selection page for non-Paypal subscriptions?

I must admit I find Paypal a pain in the back to use and delayed buying my membership for over a year as no other payment options were apparent.

Allowing Direct Deposits might be a positive thing for AFF to do.

Yes I am using the direct deposit option. I have had problems with PayPal intermittently for some reason so this is quite useful.

I use pay pal a lot, purchases and payments... Except for the extortion they charge in fees, I have never had a problem. I think I'm lucky as a lot of people seem to have dramas with them...

Yes, correct Payment by direct deposit (or cheque, for that matter) has always been available. Simply PM me and I'll send you the details.
