Going OS In June

Hi,

I need to be in Tehran by the middle of June 09 and was wondering whether I had better book soon or whether it might pay off for a sale or last minute cheap flight. I will be travelling ex. Melbourne and missed out on an excellent sale that Etihad had in Dec of last year for like $870 ow and $1400 rtn or something to that effect.

Anyway, I noticed on paypal offers that jetabroad has a $100 cashback offer on now. Did a quick check of itasoftware and noticed that on the 9th of June, Etihad has one-way for $1175 and the same price is on jetabroad, so it comes to $1075.. decent enough I guess, or can I get a cheap flight if I wait? Don't wanna tempt fate..

Are you looking for a one-way flight?

On Zuji right now if you book for 11 June BNE-IKA on Etihad airfare is ~$1,014 one-way and SYD-IKA on Etihad airfare is ~$1,024 one-way. MEL-IKA is a much more expensive so I would hold out for a cheap QF or DJ happy hour airfare MEL-SYD/BNE and you are well below the prices you have quoted.

Better still why not take the Zuji price to Flight Centre for price match and receive $100 cashback to Paypal account.

Are airfares likely to get cheaper? Possibly but very hard to predict.
