I am thinking of the following tier 2 global explorer trip:

tsv-bne
bne-sin
sin-lhr
lhr-vie
vie-bud
bud-cdg
cdk-jfk
jfk-dfw
dfw-okc
okc-dfw
dfw-lax
lax-bne
bne-tsv

These are my ?'s
a) am i able to include the 3 european stops on top of lhr and also the same goes for travel from dfw-okc and then return to get to lax.

b) to work out sc's i would get for discount economy, do i just work out the mileage bet. each section?

i'm choosing global or explorer as just that much cheaper.
cheers

Yes, you can do that, so long as the total miles remains below 29,000.

Yes, use Great Circle Mapper to determine the distance and then look it up on the QFF tables on the web site.

That much cheaper than what? A LLGLOG29 is the same price as a LLONE4 ($3289) and a LHGLOG29 is the same price as a LHONE4 ($3479).

The OneWorld Explorer (LLONE4) is generally a lot more flexible than a Global Explorer (LLGLOB29) for the same price and can include a lot more than 29,000 miles if you need. The main benefit of a Global Explorer is that you can use some codeshare services that are operated by non-OneWorld airlines, while the OneWorld Explorer must use all OneWorld airlines (coded and operated).
