Frequent Flyer cards, are they still issued?

My old card expired in September, as it does every year, but this year I still haven't received a new card.

I contacted Qantas FF customer care via the website in October, but still haven't received a response from them (other than the automatic email).

Yes they are still issued. I suggest a phone call rather than email or online chat.

Oh and I assume you're talking about an FF card (silver, gold etc.) rather than a Qantas Club card.

Yes cards are still issued. They should get sent out when you reach a new status level or the end of the membership year.
Contacting customer care won't do anything. You need to contact Frequent Flyer directly.

Didn't fly enough so dropped to QF PS and got a QF PS and QTMC co card without asking.
Surprised OP hasn't had one sent by QF automatcally.

I got my new WP card recently for the start of my new QF year today.

Call takes a bit of patience, but getting an agent is the best way to resolve. Don't rely on email or chat for anything important.
