Four airlines in one day

Interesting reading, although not entirely unexpected.
IMHO an airline has to pretty bad if your always going to get ordinary or non-existant on-board service. (A few OS LCC's spring to mind). but an airlines true measure on how good it is, is when things go pare-shaped.

That said, I usually fly QF as I like getting the on-board extra's such as the free meals, the free drinks, the free on-board entertainment. As far as I'm concerned I spend enough time on planes, the novelty of flying itself is now over, I want the extra's.

I was hoping that he would get 4F again, haha that would be gold!

QF is my preferred and first choice, yes they cost more, but that's what I want, I don't want the hassles.....

Also when going int'l, I take advantage of PS/QP baggage allowances.

However flying DOM, I will try not to check in if I can, I am over waiting for luggage, so I am one to take advantage of the carry on, on QF :)

I'm with harvyk on the food/drinks. Even though I am a paying QP member, sometimes I won't even have a drink, I just like to have somewhere to sit before a flight and not with 1 million kids running around, well, sometimes they do in the lounge too, but you know.

My preference if I had to go through each would be ...
QF
Virgin
Jetstar
Tiger

And I have never flown Tiger before! and don't intend to, after what I hear ...

but the horror stories of Jetstar also scare me. At least Virgin's call centre is here, isn't it?
