Foreign issued CCs

Surely there must be some members here with cards issued in HKG or SIN and elsewhere (I'll leave the US to other existing threads such as that started by cove).

What are people's experiences? I'm looking to get a HKG card later in the year and am contemplating the Cathay Pacific Amex Elite and one of the Citi cards that comes with a 2% cashback on total spending per statement.

I spend a lot of time in HKG so having a HKG issued CC is no problem in that respect.
