For those who thought you'd need to book at T-335 days

Happy to report, managed to snag the last J seat for mrsdoc on any QF9 or 10 in April 2016. Booked about a week or so ago. Perfect dates coinciding with my (paid) fare.

Who said you needed to book 12 months in advance!

(I realise availability will vary and may open up etc but I was pleased that it worked perfectly).

Sounds like you were lucky - who knows could be a J award cancelled and put back in the pool - whatever, no doubt you are pleased. Also helped by the fact that you were only after one seat. Winners are grinners as they say

Yes, was wondering that.

There was a ton of Y availability, no Y+ or F seating, but I found these two so must have fluked looking when someone had just canceled!
