Three experiences in one flight - 1 good 2 not so!
1. Qantas Club Melbourne wednesday arvo - pre sliced cheddar cheese - are they kidding ???!!! I know its been a long time since Brie had an appearance but plastic cheese - yuck. ( i know probably belongs elsewhere but...)
2. checked in at airport for flight to BNE - 12C - exit row - happy with that - upon boarding I hear a FA on the phone in the air bridge asking if there were any exit row seats left. no? - cough ( or word to that effect) we have a cranky gentleman who insists on one - we'll have to shuffle. So I say as i boarded to next FA and sad man standing next to her - you can have my seat ( i'm not tall but a bit, ok, a lot round) - they both nearly fell over backwards - i went to 14D and were all happy - upon exiting plane - FA presents me with a bottle of Pinot !! nice - thanks Qantas crew !!!
3. I hope they arn't paying Neil Perry much, if anything - a dry scone with jam and cream for dinner - yuk!
