Hi Folks

I am a new user to Krisflyer (Thanks to conversion program with Virgin)
So I trying to book an award flight out of Canberra to Singapore, and the system will not let me find Canberra when I tick the "Redeem award flight(s)" box.
I can easily book a revenue/commercial flight out on a Virgin domestic connection - so why not an award flight?

Please help

Krisflyer online award booking engine only allows you to book Singapore Airlines and Silkair flights, for partner bookings you need to call them.

Trouble with this is you will lose the 15pc online booking discount for the SQ sector from SYD (or MEL) to SIN.

Just had the same problem decided to book from Sydney as the 15% adds up to way more than the costs to just redem J with Velocity from CBR to SYD. That was flying in F though, but without doing the numbers I reckon it would be the same for J.

Does the VA/SQ marketing agreement allow VA in CBR (or anywhere else in Oz) to through check bags & issue boarding passes to the final SQ destinations when you have separate pnrs?
