Hi everyone
This is my first post. Recently I flew to India on Cathay Pacific and then internally from New Dehli - Jaipur - Goa - Mumbai.

I must say I was surprised and impressed with the service on Air India (domestic) and the security arrangements at all the airports. You need to be travelling to enter each airport and show your tickets, id., etc. At Mumbai airport we passed through 4 security checks from entering the airport to boarding the aircraft.

Welcome aboard!

I will say that flying in India is certainly a different experience to Australia.

Welcome.

Not everyday that you read such a positive review about flying in India.

Welcome to AFF.

My experiences in India are quite a few years old but they are a real mixed bag - some of the best flights and service I've experienced (Air India Bombay to Delhi even in Y a clear standout, but also flights to Goa), yet also rife with cancellations and bribe-induced queue-jumping and bumping from flights. Colleagues who have travelled in recent years have been quite impressed.
