Flying from Brisbane to Vanuatu on NF flight

I am a Qantas Club member and didnt even consider that I would have access to the Qantas lounge on the way out, until I read the following on Air Vanuatu website

"In partnership with Qantas, Air Vanuatu Business Class passengers and Qantas Frequent Flyer members may have access to Qantas Lounges where applicable. For more details please refer to the airline. "

I have tried searching this site and google and keep coming up with conflicting answers, does anyone have the latest info please? Wondering if the flight has to be a QF number?
