As an aside I found JAL very frustrating when trying to plan a trip for 2011. As with this offer, they have not released any prices beyond March 2011. When I rang to ask when new pricing would be available for May 2011 I was told they were unsure but I could book now & if the prices didn't suit I could cancel at no cost.

Yes, JAL's limited date availability really annoys me too!
But I have got some really good prices on Y+ fares to Europe (Sep 2010) and Japan (Feb 2011) so I'm happy.

I also like their 777s and the excellent service they provide in the air. Love those massages at the Sakura lounge in Narita as well :D

Pity I purchased my ticket in August. Still I wonder how they would have reacted to the fact that whilst I purchased the ticket in Australia to fly to Japan I am flying there from ICN.

Worth a try as we have a JL flight to Japan coming up in February.

Was knocked back:
your ticket was not issued by Japan Airlines in Australia [American Airlines]. Additionally, your itinerary is not departing Australia [Singapore] with a destination of Japan.
