Hi everyone, I'm still new here to forgive me if this isn't the correct place for this thread.

I am off to Miami Beach next week - staying on Collins avenue. I am flying in and out of FLL airport and need some help finding a way to get between my hotel and the airport. Preferably I am after a private driver service as long as it isn't too expensive. Or should I just get a taxi?

Thanks in advanced. :)

Have recently returned from Miami Sth Beach, we stayed on Ocean Drive so not far from Collins (depending where on Collins, I suppose) we flew in & out of MIA - used a company called Worldwide Transportation Worldwide Transportation this was a company booked by our hotel. We had an SUV it was clean, the drivers were polite and gave a good commentary on both trips.

Price MIA-Hotel $146.80

Price Hotel-MIA $140.00

The prices isn't going to be much of a guide given you're FLL.

If anyone has an answer to this I would be grateful! I am flying into FLL on Thursday and staying on Miami Beach. I don't mind using public transport, even if it takes a bit longer. Just looking for the cheapest form of transport.

There's a few companies mentioned in the thread below on FT which may be of interest

Thanks Princess Fiona.

So far I have found Fort Lauderdale Hollywood Airport Shuttle - Get Limousine Service Online (mentioned in the thread). Its about $26 for a shared service or $100 each way for private car with meet and greet.

I'm considering the private option, since after 22hours of flying (not counting the hell of LAX and my 5 hour stop over) the last thing I want is to be waiting around for the shared service to collect more people.
