Flights changed and then back to original?

I had a flight change time by 5 minutes earlier in the month, same flight, wasn’t sure why. Was odd.

+1. I received an email advising of a change to schedule, with our flight arriving 5 minutes earlier than previously. Checked our booking yesterday to find that a 763 had been substituted with ... a 763! Only trouble is, my carefully selected seats in Row 26 were no longer allocated. I've just checked again to find my re-allocated seats re-re-allocated. Grrrrr! :-|

Had a similar e-mail yesterday; my QF94 in April was changed from arriving 7:55am to arriving 7:55am ... then I cheked. It was departing 10 minutes later, but was no longer a 388 - my 50C seat allocation had morphed into 51G or something.

Back to the bulkhead for me .

I received an email from QF recently about changes to my PER-SIN flight in March 2011.

To be honest I find the email useless as it does not list the original departure and arrival times but rather only the new departure and arrival times.

I have a funny feeling the arrival time is now ~5 minutes earlier.

Agreed regarding the informational value of the email JohnK, but ... what about your seat allocation?

I've had a couple of these for my ADL-SYD v.v. flights. Arrival 5 minutes earlier and a change from a 734 to 738 (or maybe the other way around).

I use Myflights on iPhone and it is good when changes happen as it changes the booking details to red when it detects a change I can then check the booking before getting it to update the details. The changed bit is then also in red once updated. Only bad bit is I had all my qantas bookings change twice on consecutive days last week. This was to remove and then add the arrival and departure terminals in the bookings and to add and remove "/table" at the end of the fare conditions. Bit too much information.
