Flight is delayed due to engine issues as we are given a $NZ 6 voucher to use in the cafe.

This Q300 propeller plane with a 2×2 seat configuration is tiny and noisy, and I am given the last row, 13. I think the air conditioning unit is behind me as it is so noisy!

But the hum of the engine makes me sleepy and I doze off.

Soon after I awake to the flight attendant handing out cookies and tea/coffee. The cookies are a cranberry and nut shortbread. I take two.

It’s a cloudy day so the view from the plane isn’t too good, so I doze off again for a quick nap before landing.

Granted, costs are different in each country, but NZ$6 doesn't strike me as very generous when one has to spend it in an airport with the typical 'non high street', outrageous prices.

given the in flight service is rather minimal, $6 is more than comparative.
