Hey Folks

Just wanted to share that I was recently successful in claiming free flights under Flight Centre's Lowest Airfare Guarantee. Unfortunately, due to circumstances, I've had to cancel the trip, but I'll always have my Flight Centre itinerary showing a total price of $0 for my flights and I now know it is possible. Happy to discuss details by PM.

Recently booked flight to Europe with Flight Center and used the flight guarantee. It worked and worked well !

Flight Center pricing saved me about 2K on business to NY next year compared to the airline site

Not much to say... i had been sniffying around for about a month looking for a sale / good price for a flight Per - HK - JFK and return leg LAX - HK -Per with CP. Might have even been AFF site, Flight Centre advert popped up offering good pricing on bc flights. Simply filled in the form and sent away the query, wow got a response with in 12 hours, asking a few questions and then received the good price. This would be the first flight I have booked with an agent and happy with price and awesome service.

You just said a lot my friend - did you check Cathay web site first to price multi city itinerary and then contacted FC to compare similar itinerary?

CP website was the first place I went for the price, and sending the enquiry to FC was purely to keep CP honest and scottish heritage looking for a deal. My email to FC in response to the price, i mentioned that i was surprised they were cheaper than CP. No reason was given why and I didn't ask just happy to save a few bucks:-)

OK that's a fantastic get. Well done! Not many good words said about FC on AFF but the few dealings I had with them several years ago went off without a hitch - although I did know the staff I was dealing with - hope you enjoy your trip NY. Don't forget to drop into Lillie's on W 49th St for a drink - my offer of bottle Krug to anybody who does not love the place for pre / post dinner drinks still stands.

Give a company a good rap, and then your next dealing with them is shocking.

Requested some internal flight prices for US and Canada, first email back from FC was with in 24 hours with pricing. I responded back on Saturday last week with a simple question and to-date no response.

Looks like I am booking direct

Next time, rather than generic Flight Centre, try their Travel Associates service. In Melbourne I can particularly recommend the Elsternwick branch (Ackerfield & Goldberg): same FC pricing but with silver service. [I've no commercial connection with them, just a satisfied customer, even though I'm mostly booking direct these days.]
