Hello,

I had a query regarding upgrading long haul international VA services. Gold & plat members can do this, as per the T&Cs

My question is, can you do this for other people on the same booking if they are not a gold or plat member?

For eg. myself (gold member) and my partner book (lets say red member) return flexi fares to LAX on the same booking. Am I allowed/eligible to upgrade both of our flights with points? Or would only my flight be allowed to be upgraded? I am hoping you are allowed to upgrade both, if anyone has any feedback or advice would be greatly appreciated

You can do all people in the same booking as long as you have enough points and are in the Flexi class.

A trick to see if seats are actually avaiable is see if Z ( redemption class) is open on the flight you are on
