A BUS service running from London to Sydney has reached its final destination after an 84-day journey.


The first OzBus tour, which left London on September 16, reached Sydney yesterday after a sometimes perilous drive through Europe, the Middle East, the Asian sub-continent, South-East Asia, Kakadu, Adelaide and Melbourne.


The trip's founder, Mark Creasey, said the second service, which left London on September 23, was finding the going "an awful lot easier" thanks to some tough lessons learned by the company's first intrepid travellers.


"I'm extremely pleased that you're all there – and pretty much bang on time," he told passengers, according to The Guardian newspaper.
