First Aussie Radisson Red to debut in Sydney

Radisson Hotel Group is set to bring its bold, playful, social brand, Radisson RED, to Australia in 2029, HM can exclusively reveal.

The 31-storey new-build Radisson RED Sydney Haymarket will be located on the southern end of Sydney’s CBD, situated close to Central Station, Darling Harbour and the International Convention Centre, as well as Sydney’s emerging Tech Central precinct.

Featuring 328 rooms, the property will be designed as an upper-upscale lifestyle hotel catering to both international and domestic guests.

The move marks the group’s first Radisson RED in the country, following the lifestyle brand’s successful regional debut in Auckland in February. A third Radisson RED is slated to open in Queenstown in 2028.
