Finding partner PNR#s on AA award booking

It seems AA has changed the format of their website and I can't find details about my award which involves QR and QF.

I got the e-ticket number from an email. But when I put this into QR Manage my booking it won't load. They ask for my email and phone and I put it in and get error messages. I just want the QR and QF PNRs to book seats.

The QR/QF PNR will be different to an AA PNR. Phoning the “Australian” or USA AA Customer Service will provide you with it.

Actually QF showed my itinerary with the AA PNR# and now I have QF's and I chose a seat.
I called QR assumiing their phones would have a shorter waiting time. The QR and QF #s are the same but different from AA's.

AA uses the Sabre reservation system, whereas others such as QF and QR do not.

Edit: Meaning that the AA PNR will always be different to that of QF and QR

Have you tried putting the SABRE reference in to QF MMB?

Also try AY and CX websites. Otherwise just call AA and they'll tell you the relevant airline PNR you want.

I put my AA PNR into Qantas MMB and it spits out the "other" PNR, you can then use this to choose seats on other carriers.

I did have trouble with Qatar and booking seats, they were looking for details but when added it wouldn't take them due to the same FF number being on both people on the booking, I got past this by using FinnAir MMB

Outside of all that, AA customer service via twitter DM's are great, very quick and can sort out a lot of problems, they booked seats for me when I couldn't do it myself

I was going to say twitter but you beat me to it. I’ve done all sorts of things with AA via twitter, change flights, upgrade, cancel a non refundable fare (due Hurricane). They are great. I wish Qantas were as good. Ive flown Westjet and Alaska marketed by AA and both times got the PNRs from Twitter.
