Finally PayWave Debit card!

If you check the Citibank homepage, it showed this today

Yeah, I got one of those last week. I would disable the 'pay wave' if I could.

Two of my main cards have non working pay wave which is good. But, then you just insert it in the scanner and it goes through w' no pin anyway.

ING Direct have had a PayWave debit card for about a year.

Bank West also have a waving debit card. So easy to wave goodbye to your money.

I know other banks have it, it's about time Citi included it in their cards. What's everyone's problem with PayWave? If you loose your card?

Don't know about everyone else, but in all my years of credit cards, debit cards etc I haven't lost one.

There's much more incentive for a thief to steal a pay wave card, knowing they can use it without the need for PIN/authentication.

Don't know about everyone else, but in all my years of credit cards, debit cards etc I haven't lost one.

Neither have I, but unfortunately there may be a first time. And then 'wave' the funds goodbye (and with a Debit card of course its my funds, not the banks' credit funds). At least with a PIN there is a good chance that you can cancel the card before its able to be used.

Not such a big deal that I won't use the thing, but I don't like the feature.
