They are filming a commercial in the J lounge in Sydney. It seems we are getting new furniture in the lounge as part of the enhancements. Most of the window section of the lounge is closed off. They were filming the dragons at the front as I walked in.

Sad but true :!:

I saw this and posted on FT yesterday at around 8AM. No surprise they were still shooting into the night.

Am I the only surprised that the actors weren't particularly attractive? The furniture, however, looked rather luxurious in Black and White leather.

Camera equipment was near the escalator to the Cairns Qantas Club this morning. Crew were in a room near the Club. Did'nt see any fiiming, we left around 9am.

New furniture is gone but there is now a construction wall across from the buffet. Taking space from the QP perhaps?

Maybe an area for cooked to order meals, or at least proper meals? MEL Lounge manager told me via email there were very exciting changes coming, but didn't want to "spoil it." Would streamline domestic and international lounge experiences.
