after originally announcing daily SYD/NAN/SYD flights with A350s from 1 January & 6 days a week NAN/LAX/NAN, Fiji Airways cut their daily NAN/LAX/NAN to 4 days a week (3 days a week using A330s) & now they increase again.

Some NAN/LAX flights which were A350s, then changed to A330s, are now back as A350s.
(maybe the extra seats on the A350s, mean they are required - IIRC the A350s have 60 or so more seats than the FIr Airways A332s)

Below off Fiji Airways says daily A350 LAX/NAN 21-28JAN. Is that possible, with only 2 x A350s ?

could an airline do daily LAX/NAN with A350s with only 2 of them ?

or is above a typo ?

Have a look at the flight times....10-11 hours each way.
Umm

Depart nan around 2140. Arrive lax 1035 depending on whether daylight savings or not

Then sit at lax for up to 12 hours then arrive nan at 0515+2 so maybe they can't do daily

So a round trip, if they didn't sit around waiting at LAX for 12 hour, would be just possible in 24 hours. Allowing for 90 mins turnaround.

You could do it with one plane.

But because they sit around for 12 hours, they have two planes.

It would seem possible to me.

They also have some good J fares on the NAN-LAX route. On a 350 it would be a bonus
