Hi all
I know JQ NZ give points automatically now but I also read on QF website that domestic flights on an international itinerary need to be on higher fares to be eligible for points earn. I'm looking at making a QF booking with a domestic NZ codeshare operated by JQ and wondering if it will be eligible for QF FF points/SCs. I remember QF was very limited in the booking classes you could earn points on JQ operated codeshares and this is a sale fare. I can't seem to find the relevant info on the QF website anymore. Does anyone know where it is?

Thanks!

L.O.

Read the rules as they are now. There used to be restirctions to certain fare classes when QF codeshare on JQ, but those were removed in one of the iterations of the tables being updated.

Right- I couldn't see anything about it in the table now so that means all fare buckets are now eligible on JQ operated QF marketed services?

My understanding is that QF-coded flights operated by other airlines earn just like any regular Qantas flight. Is Jetstar an exception?

JQ certainly used to be an exception- it was only eligible on Y and B booking classes I think.
