I've never had this problem before. I'm WP, end of membership year in a few weeks. I requalified for WP way back in Jul 19 (and over 2000 SCs now). By this point I would have normally expected my new card in the mail or at very least my digital card to update with the new expiry date.

Neither has happened. My online profile is showing milestones to P1 so it has obviously picked up I've requalified. I tried the request replacement card option and it says "Your membership tier will expire within 30 days".

So I called QFF. Sounds like I got the Philippines. Asked where my card is, she says normal practice is they won't order the new card until the end of the membership year, and you'll get them 10-14 business days after that. Apparently all good, you can use your old card for four months after expiry. I asked "do all oneworld airlines accept that?" - I'm sure some BA/AA lounge dragon would be quick to turf you with an expired card. She said yes, but unconvincingly.

Put on hold, came back 15 minutes later saying she needs to look into it further and will call back tomorrow.

I've never had this before, normally get my new cards months in advance.

I wonder if it's too late to recall all of those former well trained CC staff who were made redundant some years ago so that we could export their jobs overeseas.

Requalified for SG recently. I did expect the new card to come in the mail closer to expiry, but my digital card still hasn't extended the expiry. o.o

same here. let us know how you go. at least got my new tags coming...

I have found that the time they process requalifications varies a bit, but usually in the first week or so of your last month of the membership year

Not the same situation, but this is what happened to me ;

I had flown enough to retain Gold in 2019, but I had bookings that will take me to Platinum before my membership year turns. But 4 weeks before my membership anniversary date, I got a new Gold card on mail.

In the next two weeks, I had flown enough to qualify for Platinum for the first time and the new Platinum card arrived in the next two weeks as well

So now, in my possession, I have got a Gold card that is expiring Dec 2020 and a Platinum card expiring Dec 2020 as well :)
