The OH and myself are spending a few days in Port Vila week after next. We have not been there for about 10 years and would like to hear about other's restaurant experiences.

We like our food and try all cuisines.

It's been quite a while since I've been to Vanuatu, but my advice to you would be the coconut crab is highly over-rated.

The market is always good fun, especially if oyu can find somehting unusual (fruit usually) that you'd like to buy / try.

"Chill" in central Port Vila is very nice. Fresh seafood, good location - highly recommended. The owner is Aussie/Kiwi and has Australian television showing near the bar - great to catch a game of NRL/AFL when away from home.

We also enjoyed the restaurant at the Benjor Beach Club. This restaurant was a little out of town, but was well worth the trip. Very nice coughtails too!

Went to Chill, very good, great food and top location. Also found La Tentation to be very good food but not happy with the 3.5% surcharge for all credit cards.

Asked the lady at the golf club where she dines and without hesitation said L'Houstalet. Great restaurant up on the hill near the NO 2 supermarketand and has been around for over 30 years.
All the locals eat there and the food was fantastic.
