Fastest way to earn 1,000 points

So... I miscalculated my points and burnt more points than I should've over the weekend.

Now I'm short 1,100 points to upgrade MEL-BNE in J, connecting to LAX in J as well. Not a big deal but it'd be nice to sit next to my wife and daughter who are travelling in J.

Do you know of any way I can earn 1k points very quickly (need them in my account by Sunday). I've done the AusPost digital mailbox thing but unsure how long it'll take to post.

You could have a family member transfer them to you? That's about the only way I know that they will post that quickly.

For the record, I found that the MyPost points took only a few days to come through...

Could you buy some IHG or Hilton points and transfer them? Last time I did a Hilton transfer, it came through in a day.

Otherwise, a cheap return flight somewhere? Do it tonight and hope they are there tomorrow.

edit: eRewards? 750 VA points on first survey completion but I don't remember how quickly they came in
