Interesting promotion which I'm so tempted to go for. I wonder if the requirement of flying 4 flights on AA still apply.

Wow! EP for 30k miles!
Did you get this in an email? I can't find any info on it in any of the emails I have, and nothing on the AAdvantage pages either.
Unfortunately clicking the link brings up this message:

Does anyone know how many flights I would need to get upto 30k. Is there an online calculator that could tell me?

My recent trip to IAD, using QF flight numbers earned me 10,594 EQM using V class outbound and L class inbound. My next booked trip to SFO, using AA flight numbers will earn me 15,324 EQM. Add in my next planned (but not yet booked) trip to eastern Europe using AY flight numbers for 20,156 EQM and I would easily hit 30K miles required for EXP. But alas I am ineligible for the promo since I am already AAdvantage platinum :(. but my requal for Plat this year is pretty much assured.

Just as with Qantas, it all depends on the booking class and distance flown. If you've got a couple of routes in mind, we'd be in a better place to help, but probably best to post over in the AAdvantage newbie questions thread.

I registered for this promo before it got pulled and indications to date suggest that they will honour it.

I am now trying to plan a mileage run but am a bit confused with the earning table.

How many elite qualifiying miles will I earn for a QF flight MEL-SIN in O class? Is it 50% of the distance flown or is it 12.5% (being 50% of the 25% in base miles that I will earn)?
